At the end of my senior year, our art program held a showcase where the four featured students competed to design the show's central theme. My concept, Pause, was selected. The idea came from the constant motion of student life—between classes, creative deadlines, and in my case, basketball practices, it was easy to move from one task to the next without ever stopping to appreciate the work we'd created. Pause was my way of forcing that moment—to reflect, to acknowledge, and to celebrate everything we had made before racing into whatever came next. The pause button from that project would later serve as inspiration and be repurposed into my personal logo.
